40th Expedition EDS – Médio Rio Purus e Humaitá

The team of the Health Expeditionaries (EDS) is pleased to inform the results of the 40th Expedition, carried out in partnership with SESAI-DSEI-MRP-DSEI PVH, this time serving the indigenous populations of the Middle Rio Purus and Humaitá.
The 40th EDS Expedition, which included clinical, surgical, and dental care, was conducted from May 4th to May 12th, 2018, in the Crispim Community, municipality of Lábrea-AM.
A total of 326 surgeries, 3,781 medical and dental consultations, and 6,604 exams and procedures were carried out.
